Dr. Anuja Patel
Dr. Anuja Patel's dental journey began in India in 2002, where she stood out as an eminent student at Rajiv Gandhi University, graduating top of her class. Her path in dentistry, fueled by a passion for excellence and continuous learning, took a significant leap when she married her classmate Dr. Vikaskumar Patel and together they moved to the United States, aiming to broaden their expertise and impact in dentistry.
Dr. Anuja's quest for knowledge didn't stop there. She achieved an MBA in healthcare, graduating with honors from Sigma Beta Delta, which deepened her understanding of the complex healthcare landscape in the U.S. This achievement was a stepping stone to her graduation from the University of Colorado Dental School in 2013, where she absorbed wisdom from leading dental experts.
Now, Dr. Anuja calls Maryland her home, offering top-notch dental care enriched with compassion, advanced technology, and a deep understanding of her patients' needs.
Dr. Daniel Stewart
Dr. Daniel Stewart founded Smile Savers Dentistry after graduating from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 1989. Since its inception, he has practiced dentistry using the most updated dental techniques in a kind, fun-loving environment. The Columbia, MD office is very comfortable and relaxing with experienced and caring dentists and staff.
Besides dentistry, Dr. Stewart is active in supporting the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, Believe in Tomorrow Foundation, Citizens Commission on Human Rights, Camp Friendship, Truckin' 4 Troops, and the Wounded Warrior Project. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Vikaskumar Patel, Associate
Dr. Patel is passionate about dentistry and enjoys building relationships with his patients while providing both comfort and the highest quality of personalized lifetime care. To this end, he subscribes to a philosophy of lifetime learning, and continuously hones his skills by engaging in hundreds of hours of continuing education in a variety of relevant dental topics. A member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Patel also received the prestigious Fellow of International Congress of Implantologists award for implant dentistry in 2019.
Dr. Patel began his dental practice in India, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University. He also taught at the Dental College, before moving to the United States in 2008. READ MORE
Katryna Katulski, Dental Hygienist
Hi Everyone! My name is Katryna and I'm a part-time dental hygienist here at Smile Savers Dentistry. I've been a dental hygienist since 2018 and went to Howard Community College (HCC). I graduated December 2022 with my Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from St. Petersburg College. I am passionate about what I do. I truly enjoy educating and helping my patients achieve their dream smile and excellent oral health. With that being said, I decided to pursue my passion further and I am a dental hygiene clinical instructor at HCC. Eventually, I would love to go back to school to become a dentist.
When I'm not working, you can either find me traveling, working out, cooking, or with my family and friends. Additionally, I love to play volleyball in my free time (indoor or sand) and I even coached for a few years. I use that experience and what I learned through the sport and apply it to my work as a dental hygienist.
